RESOLUTION NO. 1551

A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE BAYLOR COUNTY BANNER AS THE OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER FOR THE CITY OF SEYMOUR, TEXAS AS REFERENCED BY LOCAL GOVERNMENT CODE § 52.004.

Whereas, the City Council is required to designate annually by Resolution or Ordinance, a newspaper with general circulation in the county, to be the official newspaper; and

Whereas, the BAYLOR COUNTY BANNER has served in the past as the customary periodical wherein the City places Notices and Ordinances; and

Whereas, the BAYLOR COUNTY BANNER has the required circulation.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEYMOUR, TEXAS THAT:

For Fiscal Year 2023-2024, The BAYLOR COUNTY BANNER will be designated as the official newspaper for the City of Seymour, Texas.
