The City of Seymour will hold a Public Hearing at 7:00 p.m., on August 22, 2024, at the Seymour City Hall Building, 301 N Washington, in Seymour, Texas.

The public hearings are as follows:

Specific Use Permit request for 307 N Tackitt St to be used as a commercial RV location with one connection.

      Specific Use Permit request for 1101 N Cedar St to be used as a commercial RV Location with 5 connections.

Specific Use Permit request for 10091 Plainview to be used as a commercial RV Location with 10 connections.

 Ord 2024-09 Amending Ord 2023-06 clarifying the City Council’s procedures while acting as the Planning & Zoning Board

      Ord 2024-10 amending 10.205 Display of Unauthorized Signs, Signals or Markings city ordinance to allow for Banner placement over Main Street.

Citizens are encouraged to attend and voice their opinions/concerns during the Public Hearing.  Written comments may also be submitted to the City Secretary, at P.O. Box 31, Seymour, Texas 76380.  Persons with disabilities or others requiring auxiliary aids or services to participate in this hearing should make arrangements with City Secretary Lauren Bush, at 940-889-3148 at least two days before the hearing.
