     PUBLIC NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING

A Regular City Council Meeting to be held Thursday, March 16, 2023, at 7:00 p.m., at the Portwood Art & Civic Center, 800 E. Morris Street, Seymour, Texas 76380.  Notices have been duly posted in accordance and conformance with the Government Code of the State of Texas, Section 551.002(c). The City of Seymour attempts to make its meetings accessible to all  citizens. If you have need of auxiliary aids, please notify the ADA Coordinator at 940-889-3148, at least 48 hours in advance.  The following agenda will be considered:

(a.) One of Two Public Hearings regarding the Water Conservation Plan and Drought Contingency Plan for the City of Seymour, Texas as recommended by Jacob & Martin, Inc., Representative Tristan King.  

(b.)  First and Only Public Hearing regarding the modification of Transfer Hours of Operation as read in Ordinance No. 2022-07.  Modification change would be Tuesday – Saturday,  from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

(c.) Public Hearing on Substandard structure and public nuisance at 1007 N. Main Street, owned by Ette Properties ( Jake Willden).

(d.) Public Hearing on Substandard structure and public nuisance at  110 W. Ingram Street, owned by John and Olga Lopez.

(e.)  Public Hearing on Substandard structure and public nuisance at 503 S. Main, owned by Adis Latham and Laurie McKerlie.  

5.  Report(s)

(a.)  Discuss, and hear update regarding the City of Seymour 2021-2022 Financial Audit Process and Finance Report by Mary Griffin, Finance Director.

(b.)  Discuss, and hear update from Kim Stevenson, representing the Seymour Helping Hands Car Show, as requested by City Council.

6. Storage Tank Bid(s)

(a.)  Discuss and take action regarding bids on Storage Tanks at the Reverse Osmosis Plant. Presented by Tristan King, Representative of Jacob & Martin, Inc.  

7.  Action Items

(a.) Consider and take action on an order regarding Substandard structure and public nuisance at 1007 N. Main Street, Seymour, Texas 76380, that is owned by Ette Properties (Jake Willden). (R 8965)

(b.)  Consider and take action on an order regarding Substandard structure and public nuisance at 110 W. Ingram Street, Seymour, Texas 76380, that is owned by John & Olga Lopez.  (R8597)

(c.)  Consider and take action on an order regarding Substandard structure and public nuisance at 503 S. Main Street, Seymour, Texas 76380, that is owned by Adis Latham & Laurie McKerlie. (R 10121 & R17139)

(d.) Discuss, consider, and take action regarding  the opening of the shooting range at Salt Fork Recreational Complex.

(e.) Set the rules and procedures for shooting range at the Salt Fork Recreational Complex.

(f.) Discuss, consider, and take action to approve Resolution No. 1545, regarding a Budget Adjustment, for Fiscal Year 2022-2023, for Salt Fork Recreational Complex, in the amount of $4,985.00, regarding a main pump station.  These changes will not increase the overall budget.   

(g.) Discuss, consider, and take action approving Ordinance No. 2023-03, modifying Transfer Station Operating Hours.

(h.) Discuss, consider, and take action to approve the Racial Profile Report as presented by the Seymour Police Department, for 2022.

(i.) Discuss, consider and take action to approve the annual Police Contact Data Report for 2022, by the Seymour Police Department.

(j.)  Discuss, consider, and take action regarding modifications to the City Council operating procedures and changes to the public comment format.

(k.) Discuss, consider, and take action to live stream the City Council meetings.

(l.)  Discuss, consider, and take action to modify City of Seymour Pool Information, if council chooses to do so.
