CITY OF SEYMOUR CITY COUNCIL

                     SPECIAL CALLED/BUDGET WORKSHOP

                                           August 14, 2017

 

A Special Called/Budget Workshop was held on Monday, August 14, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at Seymour City Hall, Conference Room, 301 N. Washington Street, Seymour, TX 76380.

 

Mayor Josh Sosolik called the meeting to order along with roll call and the Pledge of Allegiance at 6:05 p.m.

 

Council present: Mayor Sosolik, Council members Les Hons, Paula K. Vaden, MPT Jon Hrncirik, Mary K. Fair and Monty Glass.

 

City Counsel: City Attorney Jonathan Whitsitt was not present at this meeting.

 

City Staff: City Administrator Steve Biedermann, City Secretary Conchita Torrez, Finance Director Mary Griffin, Chief Mike Griffin, Street Supervisor Adam Sturgeon and Pool/SFREC Supervisor Todd Hrncirik.

 

Guest(s): Baylor Co. Judge Rusty Stafford, Sheriff Jason Ziessel and Dispatch Supervisor Renee Salmen.

 

  1. Seymour City Council Members will discuss and review the Budget draft for the City of Seymour, Fiscal Year 2017-2018, as proposed by City Staff. City Council may direct modifications to proposed budget document.

 

Mayor Sosolik and City of Seymour City Council reviewed the budget modifications that were made by Mary Griffin. Also, the City went over the proposed budget with County Staff.

 

  1. Adjournment by MPT Jon Hrncirik, second by Council member Les Hons to adjourn meeting at 8:22 p.m. Motion passed unanimously.
