A Regular City Council Meeting, to be held on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at 7:00 p.m., at the Seymour City Hall, 301 N Washington, Seymour, Texas 76380. All notices have been duly posted in accordance and conformance with eh Government Code of the State of Texas, Section 551.072 (c.) The City of Seymour attempts to make its meetings accessible to all its citizens. If you have need of auxiliary aids, please notify the City Secretary, at (940) 889-3148, at least 48 hours in advance.  The agenda is also posted on the city’s website at www.cityofseymour.org, with the following agenda to be considered:

    1. 133-145 PG  The first public hearing is in regards to a SPECIFIC USE PERMIT, ZONING change of 312 W 12th St, also known as Lot 20 Blk 2, Subd S-D, in Seymour Texas.  Specific Use Permit would allow for the use placement of shipping containers for the purpose of renting out as Storage Units, 20 in total.
    2. N/A  Second Public Hearing is in regards to allowing Game Rooms into the City limits and what local laws may govern them
    3. 146-153 PG  Third public hearing is in regards to a STRAIGHT REZONE, ZONING change of 701 N East St, also known as Lot 22 Blk 7, Subd McLain, in Seymour Texas, for the purpose of a dog park.
