A Scheduled City Council Meeting, Thursday, June 15, 2023, at 7:00 P.M. at Portwood Art & Civic Center, 800 E. Morris Street, Portwood Art & Civic Center, Seymour, Texas. All notices have been duly posted in accordance and conformance with the Government Code of the State of Texas, Section 551.002(c). The City of Seymour attempts to make its meetings accessible to all of its citizens. If you have need of auxiliary aids, please notify the City Secretary at 889-3148, at least 48 hours in advance. The following agenda will be considered:
1. Call to Order, Roll Call, and Pledge of Allegiance by Mayor Mark McCord
2. Prayer led by David Warren, Pastor of First Baptist Church.
3. Presentation
(a.) Hear presentation from Mr. Paul Fleming, with Edgin, Parkman, Fleming & Fleming, PC, regarding the City of Seymour Audit Report for Fiscal Year 2020-2021.
4. Action Item regarding Agenda Item #3 (a.)
(a.) Discuss, consider, and take action to approve the City of Seymour, Fiscal Year 2020-2021, City of Seymour, Audit Report as presented by Mr. Paul Fleming, representative of Edgin, Parkman, Fleming & Fleming, PC.

Change July 20th Council Meeting to July 18th, 2023, due to training
6. City Administrator Dr. Jeff Brasher, recognizes Department of the Month.

9. Public Hearing(s)
(a.) First Public Hearing regarding a Specific Use Permit, for an application concerning Acres 0.386, Lot 4, Block 13, Sub division Wheat, located at 1101 E. Nevada Street, in Seymour, Texas, as requested by Mike Horton. The Specific Use Permit request is to place a single-wide manufactured home at said location. Lot already has a dwelling on it.

(a.) Approve meeting minutes for May 12, 2023, Canvass of Elections & May 18, 2023, Regular Council Meeting.
(b) Approve Accounts Payable Bills paid the month of May 2023

(a.) Discuss, consider, and take action appointing a Proxy to the Nortex Regional Planning Commission, in the event Mayor McCord is not able to attend.
