June 19, 2025 Meeting Minutes
A Regular City Council Meeting, was held on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at 7:00 p.m., at Seymour City Hall, 301 N Washington St, Seymour, Texas 76380. All notices were duly posted in accordance and conformance with the Government Code of the State of Texas, Section 551.072 (c.) The following agenda was considered:
OPEN MEETING -7pm
- Call to Order, Roll Call and Pledge of Allegiance by Mayor Mark McCord.

- Concerning 500 E Ingram – Specific Use permit is to allow for a RV/Travel Trailer to be used as a residence while owner remodels a Trailer House outside of Zoning restrictions and uses said Trailer House as a residence once remodel is complete, storing the RV/Travel Trailer on the premise.
- Ordinance 2025-05 Amending Ordinance 2023-05 to increase the Surrender fee from $100 to $140

- Owner, Ed Slate, addressed council and said that he was working towards moving the house to the Red Spring area. In the mean time, he was going to remove the roof bc of damage and to prepare for the house movers. He expressed that the house would not be open to the elements as it had a solid decking under the roof. Motion to review progress of property in 60 days was made by Lan Winn, 2nd by Billy Henricks. Vote 4-0, Motion Passes.
