A Regular City Council Meeting, to be held on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at 7:00 p.m., at Seymour City Hall, 301 N Washington St, Seymour, Texas 76380. All notices have been duly posted in accordance and conformance with the Government Code of the State of Texas, Section 551.072 (c.) The City of Seymour attempts to make its meetings accessible to all its citizens. If you have need of auxiliary aids, please notify the City Secretary, at (940) 889-3148, at least 48 hours in advance. - Concerning 608 N Odom – Specific Use permit is for an RV Park with 10 Parking places.
- Concerning 801 N Odom – Specific Use permit is for 2 RV Parking Spots to be used as residences.
- Concerning 1000 Plainview – Specific Use permit is for 3 Tiny Homes to be used as short- or long-term rentals.
- Concerning Ordinance 2025-04 Repealing the current Zoning Ordinance in its entirety and adding (a) set back information for clarity, (b) mixed use residential in a commercial district with a specific use permit, (c) language disallowing 8-liner Gaming Halls, (d) changing the definition of “Gaming Halls” to reflect that 8-liners are not included in any allowances, and (e) adding a specific use permit requirement for Gaming Halls in general.
