Re-Scheduled City Council Meeting, Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at 7:00 P.M. at the Portwood Art & Civic Center, 800 E. Morris Street, Seymour, Texas, 76380. All notices have been duly posted in accordance and conformance with the Government Code of the State of Texas, Section 551.002(c). The City of Seymour attempts to make its meetings accessible to all of its citizens. If you have need of auxiliary aids, please notify the ADA Coordinator at 889-3148, at least 48 hours in advance. The following agenda will be considered:
1. Call to Order, Roll Call and Pledge of Allegiance by Mayor Jon Hrncirik
2. Council Member to lead Prayer
3. City Administrator Dr. Jeffrey Brasher, E.d. D., recognizing Greg Shumate, Wastewater Employee.
4. City of Seymour General & Special Election Results
(a.) Canvassing Results for the City of Seymour, Special Election held on May 7, 2022,
by Election Judge Linda Conner.
(b) Approve Resolution No. 1526, approving Election Results for the May 7, 2022,
as read by Election Judge Linda Conner.
Council Place 2 for a 1 year unexpired term
Mark McCord Early Voting Total 248 Election Day Total 115 = 363 votes
Billy Henricks Early Voting Total 115 Election Day Total 46 = 161 votes
Mark McCord is declared the winner for Council Place 2
(c) Council Place 3 for a 2 year term (Unopposed)
Sabrina Rivers Early Voting Total 291 Election Day Total 134= 425 total
(d.) Mayor Jon Hrncirik swears in General Election Candidates (Unopposed)
Monty Glass and Lan Winn for a two -year term.
(e.) Mayor Jon Hrncirik swears in Special Election Candidates, Council Place 2 Mark McCord, for a 1 year unexpired term and Council Place 3 Sabrina Rivers for a two year erm.
(f) Discuss and take action regarding the selection of a Mayor Pro-Tem for 2022-2023.

(b) Discuss, consider, and give direction to City Administrator concerning Shipman Land Lease and all other potential leases.
(c ) Discuss, and approve Manufactured Housing Overlay for zoning map
purposes regarding R1 Zoned East of Main Street.
