This notice is to inform that the following property was found to be in violation of the city’s
substandard structure ordinance outlined in the Local Government Code, Title 7, Subtitle A,
Chapter 214, for dangerous structures.
LEGAL DESCRIPTION: East Fifty-seven Feet (57) of Lots Five (5) and Six (6), in Block Ten
(10), of the Original Town of Seymour, Baylor County, Texas, including a Manufactured Home
Located thereon, which is a 1974 Festival, Serial #2761
SITUS: 110 W Ingram St, Seymour, TX 76380
PARCEL ID: R000008597
VIOLATION: Unsafe, Dangerous, or Hazardous Buildings and Structures # 2019-02. Any
building that is dilapidated, substandard, or unfit for human habitation and a hazard to the public
health, safety & welfare
DESCRIPTION: Severely burned single-wide blue mobile home with brown underpinning,
white window trim, and an unattached metal car port.
A hearing has been set before the city council for the determination to abate a building or
structure that has been identified and inspected as substandard and/or hazardous according to the
provisions of the Unsafe, Dangerous, or Hazardous Buildings and Structures # 2019-02
Ordinance. The hearing will take place at the Portwood Art & Civic Center, 800 E Morris
Street, Seymour, Texas, on the 16th day of March, 2023 at 7:00 p.m.
