SPECIAL CALLED MEETING MINUTES
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 27, 2018
A Special Called Meeting of City Council was held on Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at 6:00 p.m., 301 N. Washington Street, Seymour City Hall, Conference Room, in Seymour Texas 76380.
Call to Order, Roll Call and Pledge of Allegiance was led by MPT Jon Hrncirik at 6:00 p.m.
Council present: MPT Jon Hrncirik, Council members Les Hons, Paula K. Vaden, Monty Glass and Mary K. Fair.
City Staff: City Administrator Steve Biedermann and City Secretary Conchita Torrez
Guest: R.O. Supervisor Jason Bench
Regular Meeting closes and Executive Session begins at 6:01 p.m.
- An Executive Session pursuant to Chapter 551 of the Texas Local Government Code under Section 551.074 (a) (1) Personnel Matters; To deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee.

Executive Session closes and Regular Meeting resumes at 7:33 p.m.
- Take action if any resulting from deliberation during Executive Session.
Jason Bench asked that he be considered and allowed to become a Part-time employee, instead of a Full-time employee, so that he could dedicate more time to his business.
City Council had a discussion regarding the matter at hand, and after much consideration, a motion was entertained. Motion made by Council member Les Hons, second by Council member Monty Glass, to ask Jason Bench to remain as a City of Seymour Full-time employee and a Part –time status, is not an option.
Jason Bench will get back with City Administrator regarding his decision. No specific time was asked of Mr. Bench regarding this matter. Motion passed unanimously.
- Adjournment made by Council member Paula K. Vaden, second by Council member Monty Glass at 8:31 a.m. Motion passed unanimously.
