Notice of Public Hearing
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Seymour, Texas, will conduct a public hearing on October 22, 2026 at 7 p.m. at the City Hall Auditorium, City Hall, 301 N. Washington Street, Seymour, Texas 76380.
The City will receive public comments on ZONING REQUESTS:
[PH#1] Applicant: Pete Winn – Requesting Specific Use Permit for 10 RV Spots located at 806 N Odom also know as Lots 1-4 of Block 8 in the Wheat Addition comprised of .707 Acres. The existing zoning classification is Residential R-1 and the request for a SUP would allow it to be used as a B-2 Commercial lot for this purpose ONLY;
[PH#2] Applicant: J Scott McDermott – Requesting Specific Use Permit for 16 RV Spots located at 607 & 611 E. Miller St. also know as Lots 7-11 of Block 3 of the Reiman 1st Addition comprised of .688 Acres. The existing zoning classification is Residential R-1 and the request for a SUP would allow it to be used as a B-2 Commercial lot for this purpose ONLY;
[PH#3] Applicant: David Malihos – Requesting Specific Use Permit for 1 RV Spot located at 507 N Tackitt St. also know as Lots 9-10 of Block 4 of the McLain Addition comprised of .321 Acres. The existing zoning classification is Residential R-1 and the request for a SUP would allow it to be used as a B-2 Commercial lot for this purpose ONLY;

The City will receive public comments on ORDINANCE 2026-08:
[PH#4] Ordinance 2026-08 clarifying the Employee Discount rate for Salt Fork Recreational Complex Memberships. The hearing is conducted pursuant to Local Government Code §§51.001, 51.012 and 51.015(b).
Interested persons may attend and present comments at the hearing. Materials may be inspected at City Hall during normal business hours.
