The City of Seymour is in the process of conducting improvements to the Water System.

Funding for this project was wholly provided from the Drinking Water State Revolving (SRF) funding through the EPA.  The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) is responsible for administering this fund in the State of Texas.

The project consists of supplying and installing two 96 gpm permeate RO concentrators and associated equipment in the existing Water Treatment Plant.  The project also includes installing approximately 1,100 feet of 8″ Class 200 PVC Water Line, and approximately 15.7 acres of evaporation ponds with associated synthetic liner and leak detection system.
