A City Council Meeting, to be held on Thursday, September 18, 2025, with EXECUTIVE SESSION beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the City Hall Conference Room & REGUALR MEETING beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Seymour City Hall, 301 N Washington St, Seymour, Texas 76380. All notices have been duly posted in accordance and conformance with the Government Code of the State of Texas, Section 551.072 (c.) The City of Seymour attempts to make its meetings accessible to all its citizens. If you have a need of auxiliary aids, please notify the City Secretary, at (940) 889-3148, at least 48 hours in advance. PUBLIC HEARINGS
- PG 12 Resolution 1591, a resolution of the City Council of the City of Seymour amending resolution #1574, the operating budget of the City of Seymour for fiscal year 2024-2025, adding additional funding to line items as listed by transferring funds from line items as listed in detail
- PG 12 Resolution 1592, a resolution approving and adopting a budget for the City of Seymour for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2025, and ending September 30, 2026, in the form of a roll call ‘voice vote’ of the budget resolution.
- PG 12 Ordinance 2025-11, an ordinance of the City of Seymour, Texas levying ad valorem taxes for tax year 2025, at $0.41175 per $100 dollar valuation for property within the corporate limits representing a levy of 0.41175/$100 for operations and maintenance, providing due and delinquent dates; penalties and interest; recording the roll call vote of council and providing an effective date.
