PUBLIC HEARINGS

CITY OF SEYMOUR

The City of Seymour will hold multiple public hearings at 7:00 p.m., on September 24, 2026, at 301 N Washington, Seymour City Hall, in Seymour, Texas, 76380.

Public Hearing:

1. Concerning a Specific Use Permit request at 401 W. 11^th St, for the purpose of 10 RV Hookups plus a wash room.

2. Concerning a Specific Use Request at 801 N Cedar St, for the purpose of 7 covered RV Spots plus an 8×8 wash room. 

3. Resolution 1607, a resolution of the City Council of the City of Seymour amending resolution #1574, the operating budget of the City of Seymour for fiscal year 2024-2025, adding additional funding to line items as listed by transferring funds from line items as listed in detail
   
   
4. Resolution 1608, a resolution approving and adopting a budget for the City of Seymour for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2026, and ending September 30, 2027, in the form of a roll call ‘voice vote’ of the budget resolution.
   
   
5. Ordinance 2026-07, an ordinance of the City of Seymour, Texas levying ad valorem taxes for tax year 2026, at $0.411263 per $100 dollar valuation for property within the corporate limits representing a levy of 0.411263/$100 for operations and maintenance, providing due and delinquent dates; penalties and interest; recording the roll call vote of council and providing an effective date.
