SPECIAL CALLED MEETING

 

Special Called Meeting of Seymour City Council to be held on Monday, September 29, 2014, at 6:00 p.m., 800 E. Morris Street, Portwood Art & Civic Center, Seymour Texas 76380. All notices have been duly posted in accordance and conformance with the Government Code of the State of Texas, Section 551.002 (c). The City of Seymour attempts to make its meetings accessible to all of its citizens.  If you have need of auxiliary aids, please notify the ADA Coordinator at 889-3148, at least 48 hours in advance.  The following agenda will be considered:

 

CALL TO ORDER, PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE AND ROLL CALL

 

  1. Statement of Elected Officer signed and filed with the City Secretary from Nan Gilbert-Mathis, to fill an eight month unexpired term for Mayoral position.

 

  1. Oath of Office administered to Nan Gilbert-Mathis by MPT Billy Henricks, to fill an eight month unexpired term for Mayoral position.

 

  1. Certificate of Election issued by Mayor Pro-Tem Billy Henricks to Nan Gilbert-Mathis.

 

  1. Discuss, consider and take action regarding the Continuation of Coverage Administrative Agreement, received from Texas Municipal League.

 

  1. Discuss and approve Resolution No. 1392, a resolution to designate authorized signators for the 2012 Texas Community Development Block Grant program.

 

  1. Discuss and approve Resolution No. 1393, a resolution to designate authorized signators for the 2013 Texas Community Development Block Grant program.

 

REGULAR MEETING CLOSES AND EXECUTIVE SESSION BEGINS

 

  1. The City of Seymour Council will convene in closed session as authorized by Texas Government Code, Chapter 551, Section 551.071- Consultation with Attorney.

 

(a) General Discussion regarding the City of Seymour Park and Pool

 

EXECUTIVE SESSION ONE CLOSES AND EXECUTIVE SESSION TWO BEGINS

 

  1. The City of Seymour Council will convene in closed session as authorized by Texas Government Code, Chapter 551, Section 551.074 Personnel Matters

 

To deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties or dismissal of a public officer or employee: Portwood Pavilion cleaning position

 

EXECUTIVE SESSION TWO CLOSES AND EXECUTIVE SESSION THREE BEGINS

 

  1. The City of Seymour Council will convene into closed session as authorized by Texas Government Code, Chapter 551, Section 551.074, Personnel Matters:

 

To deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties or dismissal of a public officer or employee: City Hall Office cleaning position.

 

EXECUTIVE SESSION THREE CLOSES AND EXECUTIVE SESSION FOUR BEGINS

 

  1. The City of Seymour Council will convene into closed session as authorized by Texas Government Code, Chapter 551, Section 551.074, Personnel Matters:

 

To review the Salt Fork River Estates Complex and City Park contracts.

 

EXECUTIVE SESSION CLOSES AND REGULAR MEETING RESUMES

 

  1. Take action if any, resulting from Executive Session One.

 

  1. Take action, if any, resulting from Executive Session Two.

 

  1. Take action, if any, resulting from Executive Session Three.
