Civic Clubs & Service Groups

thQMCSHIVULion’s Club

Whenever a Lions club gets together, problems get smaller. And communities get better. That’s because we help where help is needed – in our own communities and around the world – with unmatched integrity and energy.

Our 46,000 clubs and 1.35 million members make us the world’s largest service club organization. We’re also one of the most effective. Our members do whatever is needed to help their local communities. Everywhere we work, we make friends. With children who need eyeglasses, with seniors who don’t have enough to eat and with people we may never meet.

thSDYLXU6CPink Ladies

The Pink Ladies are a service group that is located Mon-Fri inside the Seymour Hospital that have contributed over 50 years of service in Seymour!  Volunteers work 2 hour weekly shifts in the gift/snack shop.  Monies raised go to a variety of good causes:  2-3 $500 scholarships towards students entering the medical field, help to purchase medical equipment, and donations to hospice.  The Pink Ladies also help with blood drives and have a booth at Ag Day in April and Cruisin’ the Brazos in August.

The Pink ladies are always in need of new volunteers.  If you are interested in joining this service group you may pick up a form at the Pink ladies Station in the Seymour Hospital.  You must be at least 18 years of age.  Yearly dues is $2 for an active member and $5 for inactives.
